Oh my...God?!! What the H-E-double tooth picks is going on with American Idol? For that matter what is going on with music in general? First up have the people who audition for AI ever watched the show before? From what I've seen and heard...NO ONE HAS SEEN THE SHOW BEFORE!!!!!
If your Mama and Papa think you're good...that don't make you good. You have to compare to the greatest...If you can't stand on the stage with Fantasia, Ruben, Kelly, and make the crowd love you just as much as them, then you should keep your day job. Because you're cute it doesn't make you a good singer...and it damn sure doesn't make you a great singer.
I can't tell you how sick and tired of these wack ass singers I have become. But to be fair...co-conspirators in the destruction of music are record company executives, mindless consumers, and Randy, Paula, and Simon. When you audition tens of thousands of people and you put through the wack corny singers that I saw with the final 12 guys...the judges are part of the problem.
I think there should be a new constitutional amendment...if you can't sing...PUT DOWN THE MIC.
