Music is Life

It seems like such a cliche but, isn't true that music is a universal language?  How many times have you seen clips of American singers in foreign countries performing, with the crowd singing lyrics in english?  Do you know anyone who doesn't enjoy music? If you do I bet you don't ever want to hang around that person...right?

We humans are energetic creatures and it is in our very nature to be affected by sound...especially music.  When we're down we like to hear music that is in 'harmony' with how we feel.  When we feel happy, we generally want to hear happy music.

We can however use our sensitivity to music to actually help us feel better and more powerful.  When we feel down, rather than playing the blues, we can play uplifting music.  If we do that we will find that music can be very cathartic.  Some successful people actually have a 'theme song'.  They play this song at the beginning of the day, or before an important business meeting, to get them hyped up and empowered.

So try playing music that brings you to a better place.  Resist the urge to play music that keeps you feeling sad, or mad, or bad.  Play music that makes  you feel 'GLAD'.  (sorry I couldn't resist)  Don't get me wrong a good blues song or heartbreak song can be really enjoyable, but when your heart is broken, maybe a 'glad' song is just what the doctor ordered.

I love to listen to music when I clean, cook, and feel sad or glad. Music is a another language we speak without saying a word. So lets sing together.

“Music is created from the heart and molded by emotion.” Music elevates moods and affect everyone no matter what nationality.
