Just Let It Go

There comes a time when the best thing you can do is 'just let it go'.  Eventually that time will come for all of us.  Unfortunately some folks try to avoid the inevitable.  Allow me to give you some examples.  During the Grammy Awards I saw Aretha Franklin perform...I did not hear her (the volume was muted) I SAW her.

Now...I'll be the first to say that Aretha is one of the greatest singer ever...but did you see the arms???  At some point a shawl, a jacket, long sleeves, even a cape needs to become a part of a big girl's wardrobe.  Even if the volume had been up I would have been distracted counting her chins, shoulders, and rolls.  (Don't blame me she's the one who wore a sleeveless gown on a national TV broadcast.

And not for nothing Aretha's voice ain't what it used to be.  Stevie Wonder should never have hired Bozo The Clown's stylist.  Stevies last album was great...but his live performances on TV?...'Please just let it go'.

And now for some other noteworthy candidates for the 'Your Last Album Should've Been Your Last Album' award:  Paula Abdul (who performed at the Super Bowl pre-game show). Paula never could sing and still she decided the time was right for a new album...I have one word 'DAMN'.  Earth, Wind, and Fire the greatest band ever (in my book) PLEASE DON'T DO ANYMORE ALBUMS!!!  The new stuff is state of the art WACK!!!  Speaking of American Idol...someone please tell Ruben Studdurd that Celebrity Fit Club is a better fit than that song that sounds like that other song you released on your other wack album.  Oh Janet Jackson..please don't put out any more music.  I think your true talent lies in Super Bowl performances (I'm just sayin')

George Bush...with all due respect...'Please Mr. President...no more words.  You are by most accounts the worst president ever...'Just let it go.  Hillary Clinton AGAIN with the gold pant suit...'you got your money's worth now it's Time For Change ...If you're gonna wear the same suit over and over again make it a less obvious color.  Please Ms. Clinton..'Just let it go'.

So in closing remember that tomorrow's a new day....Thank Goodness!

The sad thing is these people pay stylists and management crews to make their decisions for them. But I guess if I was being paid all that money I would tell them that they look good and that yes another album is a great idea. Maybe I should change my major.
