I've heard people say that love hurts...while I understand that sentiment...I think it's not true. I think that obsession hurts. Abuse hurts. Neglect hurts. Selfishness hurts. Betrayal hurts. Misplaced loyalty hurts...but love never hurts. Love is always and only good. Love is perfect everytime. Second to God...love gets the worst rap. People blame love, when really something else is at fault.
Love is selfless, loyal, and true. Love is big, it's intimate, and accurate. Love cannot be misplaced, because love is always based on truth. Love is free...always, never does it require reciprocation. Love is God, love is a child. Love is a kiss behind your ear. Love is a smile for no reason. Love is...reason.
Love is never difficult. Love is effortless. Love is weightless. Love is not complicated, it's easy to understand. Love is unmistakable. Love is a firm hand at the nape of your neck. Love is wet and warm. Love is, at once hard and exquisitely soft.
What is love all about? If you can look deep enough you'll see that the real question is: What isn't love about?

Love has always been one of the favorite topics of poets…..and even though a lot of ink is exhausted in writing about LOVE …..there is still something not said.
What is it? If you know something that isn't being said but needs to......pleeeeze share it with the rest of us who, hard as we try, still aren't getting it.:)
