Now you know damn well...

Hello...First of all a quick pet peeve.  I went to Lowes to buy some things and the cashier who was a nice lady...had trouble opening a plastic bag to put my merchandise in.  So what  does she do?  She does what any nasty person would do...she licks her fingers to assist her in opening that pesky bag.  However she didn't use enough spit, so she licked her fingers again.  THAT wasn't enough either so one more glob of spit was applied to the bag from hell.  Thank  goodness the third glob did the trick because I was about to vomit right on her cash register.  

I hope the new president can do something to stem the tide of nasty people in this country.  To me this issue is far more important that the immigration issue.  Anyways...

I have heard a couple of the political pundits on TV, Tucker Carlson is one of them...ask... 'Why does Barack Obama keep saying he is Christian, and that he prays to Jesus?'  It's amazing how a clearly smart person can ask such a clearly stupid question.  My answer to anyone wondering is this:  Now you know DAMN well that the only reason Barack keeps addressing this issue is because race baiting dirt bags have been spreading the lie the Senator Obama is a Muslim.  

The reason they are saying this is to plant the idea in the minds of jack-asses that Mr. Obama is a terrorist or a terrorist sympathizer.  The intent of these lies and the publishing of pictures of Barack in Africa wearing tradition garb is to scare feeble minded people into thinking America is being infiltrated by the "enemy". 

This past Sunday on 60 Minutes a Ohio voter said he liked Mr. Obama but was concerned about his beliefs...when pressed he said he heard that Senator Obama was a Muslim and that he was sworn into office using the Koran and not a bible.  It's because of this kind of misinformation that Mr. Obama continues to proclaim his Christianity.

For me I think his religion doesn't matter.  But for a lot of people it does.  I think that is a really sad commentary on where we are in this country...still.  I need a drink.
