Yep...I am back, I am mad...hear me roar?

I don't intend to complain so often, it's just that people are always giving me material.  So... I'm doing a job and having some problems.  When I suggest to the super that he should inspect the trades prior to me, he agrees it's a good idea.  However it's hard to carryout he says because the sheetrock crew doesn't speak english.  So, I ask "Are you telling me that if I didn't speak english I'd be better off? And...if that is the case I'll begin speaking Swahili."  He replied that would be fine and he'd send my check to Africa.  I have to admit it was a good comeback.  However truth of the mattter is I am being held to a higher standard because I'm an english speaker.  ( I know that sounds funny)

Shortly after that mess...two guys (non-hispanic) are standing in the doorway watching me perform ceramic tile magic, and speaking to each other...and OF COURSE THEY ARE NOT SPEAKING ENGLISH!!!!!  I don't know...maybe it's me.  Am I in the freaking international twilight zone?

So then I call my cell phone company to pay my bill over the phone.  Some Robot chick named Jessica (literally a robot chick) says "Thank  you for calling T-Mobil press one for english".  That's it...I'm moving to England...'do they speak english there?'

I know that America is a melting pot, but it seems as though the only ting that is melting, is the english language.  I think it is disrespectful for people to come here from other countries and marginalize the official language of the land...and that language is english.

I've heard people say they think that kids should be taught spanish in addition to english in school...

The whole country is going loco....I mean CRAZY!!!

Hi there,

I don't think it is such a bad idea for kids to learn spanish in addition to english in schools.I don't see the harm of knowing another language. I already speek two languages and I would love to learn spanish as well.
